Day 3...

Greeting from Nanning. It kind of struck us both that we are in China. Beijing is such a cosmopolitan city that it was not a lot different than other large city's we have been to (Paris, New York). Of course it’s different because everything is in Chinese and there are a lot of Chinese people everywhere but what do you expect.

Now that we are in Nanning, it seems much more like China. Nanning is a smaller town with about 1.5 million people. The country side is very tropical. I don’t have any pictures today but you will see more in the days to come. We had a long day of traveling today. We had a 12:50pm flight from Beijing and we were unable to land in Nanning. They rerouted us to Guilin to refuel and wait for the storm to pass so we were about 2 hours later getting in than expected. So having started the day around 10am leaving our hotel it is now almost 11pm and I am just now getting to posting.

We will have to do some paper work in the morning and them we get the baby's around 5pm. We are very excited and nervous. It’s still hard to believe where we are and why we are here but we are excited none the less.

That’s about all I will say for today. We just spent most of today getting to Nanning. I will spend a little more time posting a few pictures from yesterdays outing...

Tomorrow is Gocha Day!!!
